This includes the development of new electrical insulation systems in high voltage equipment, the development of portable wide wavelength spectrometers (WW-TranSpecTM) for asset condition assessment, lifetime prediction and material characterisation, and life cycle costing and risk tools (LCC) along with dedicated tools such as Leets for life cycle economic and environmental assessment of transmission schemes.
